3D Exercise 12

Exercise 12
Exercise 12

In this CAD tutorial we'll use the features:

  • Full Round Fillet This is a specialized type of fillet that automatically creates a perfectly rounded edge between three adjacent faces. You simply select the two side faces and the middle face, and Fusion 360 creates a smooth, continuous curve without you needing to specify a radius. It is an efficient way to create a full round on a corner.

  • Hole The Hole command is a dedicated tool for creating various types of cylindrical cuts. Unlike a simple extruded cut, it provides a streamlined interface for defining industry-standard holes, including simple, clearance, countersunk, and tapped (threaded) holes. It saves time and ensures accuracy by automatically handling the geometry and thread specifications.

  • Thin Extrude (found within the standard Extrude command) is used to create a thin-walled part from a sketch that is not a closed profile. Instead of creating a solid block, it extrudes a thin sheet with a specified thickness. This is very useful for creating features like ribs, fins, or thin-walled cylinders without having to sketch and extrude a complex profile.

All dimensions are in mm/g/s/ISO
