In this CAD tutorial we'll use the features:
In CAD, Extrude, Hole, and Fillet are three essential commands for creating and refining 3D geometry.
Extrude
This is the most fundamental command for turning a 2D sketch into a 3D solid. It works by extending a sketch profile in a straight line, either to add material (a "join" operation) or to remove material (a "cut" operation).
Hole
This is a specialized tool for creating different types of holes in a part. Unlike a simple Extrude Cut, the Hole command offers options for various hole types, including simple, tapped (threaded), clearance, or countersunk holes. It saves time and ensures accuracy by automatically handling the geometry and thread specifications.
Fillet
This command creates a smooth, rounded edge on a part by adding or removing material. You can choose a constant radius for a uniform curve or a variable radius for a curve that changes along the edge. The Full Round Fillet is a specific type that automatically creates a perfectly rounded edge between three adjacent faces.
All dimensions are in mm/g/s/ISO
