In this CAD tutorial we'll use the features:
🧱 Extrude
Extrude is the most basic and frequently used command for turning a 2D sketch into a 3D solid.
Function: It works by extending a closed sketch profile linearly (in a straight line). You can use it to add material (creating a "boss" or "base") or to remove material (creating a "cut," like a hole or a slot).
Control: You define the depth and direction of the extension.
📐 Fillet
The Fillet command is used to refine and smooth sharp edges on a solid model.
Function: It creates a smooth, rounded edge by adding or removing material according to a specified radius.
Application: Fillets are essential for aesthetics, improving ergonomics, and, critically, for reducing stress concentrations on corners in engineered parts, making them more durable.
All dimensions are in mm/g/s/ISO
