Exercise 6
Exercise 6

Features used to make this exercise:

In this CAD tutorial we'll use the features:

  • Revolve: Creates a 3D solid by rotating a 2D profile around an axis. It's ideal for circular or symmetrical objects, such as shafts or vases.

  • Extrude: Transforms a 2D sketch into a 3D object by adding or removing material in a straight direction. This is the most common command to give depth to a drawing.

  • Shell: Creates a thin wall on a solid body, making it hollow. It's perfect for designing boxes or casings with a uniform wall thickness.

All dimensions are in mm/g/s/ISO
